At Truvalu.brands, we believe in equal distribution in the value chain for all actors and stakeholders.
We believe that SMEs are the drivers of (local) economies everywhere, be it in hilly landscapes of Colombia or flat industrial lines of Germany. We take a special interest in SMEs in the food industry in developing countries, from which we source products with great quality and stories. By increasing the distribution of value in favor of SMEs in developing countries, (rural) job creation, poverty alleviation and food health security are substantially improved. We believe that is the fair thing to do – business as usual! In addition, you get to enjoy delicious treats from across the globe!
At Truvalu.brands, we have defined three immediate goals:
- collaborate with and equip SMEs in developing countries and introduce them to the European market
- positively impact local entrepreneurs in developing countries by committing to increasing transparency for all stakeholders in the food chain
- walk the extra mile by providing consultation on different certification processes (WFTO, SKAL and UTZ amongst others), for our partnering SMEs.
